THE EAST LYN RIVER
The clear and fast running rivers are a key aspect of Exmoor’s special landscape, and vital habitat and corridors for wildlife. They provide excellent spawning grounds for salmon and trout and the presence of salmon particularly indicates good quality clean water. On Exmoor you are never far from the sound of water, nowhere so much as at Peacock cottage, where the music of the rushing waters will lull you to sleep every night.
